The term "amuleto" originates from Spanish, and it translates directly to "amulet" or "lucky charm." I was inspired by the historical belief that pets bring good fortune to their owners, which led me to choose this name for the brand. It emphasizes the idea that pets are truly sources of luck in our lives.
For the packaging design, I went with a distinctive approach, combining digital oil illustrations with a modern, round sans-serif typeface. This design communicates a playful, friendly, natural, and authentic brand personality. I wanted to ensure the brand resonates with a young, family-oriented audience who are passionate about protecting and caring for their most cherished companions.
When developing the logo, I took a creative approach by manipulating the round shape of the letter "o" to create a visual representation of an amulet with its chain. This design choice allowed me to ingeniously integrate the brand's conceptual essence into its visual identity and establish it as a key visual element. The name and design philosophy reflect my understanding of the emotional connection between pets and their families.
